Here in just 3 months; Come on down, this is what you’ll see from every terrace & room!

THE Definitive Fun List

Napa Meets Baja:  Flora’s Field Kitchen is a great restaurant with an amazing environment, live music, farm store, tours of the farm, event settings, etc.  The hottest thing in Cabo; reservations a must.  Literally 5 minutes from Casa La Laguna!  Be sure they know you’re staying at CLL! (http://www.flora-farms.com/).

Family and Sophisticated Dining: In old town San Jose Del Cabo-Salsita’s for authentic but sophisticated Mexican cuisine (tell Fernando or Oscar you’re staying at CLL, Doug Schneider’s villa); (http://www.salsitascocinaycantina.com.mx/), Baja Brewing Company (http://www.bajabrewingcompany.com/), and La Panga Antigua, incredible food in a Mexican hacienda courtyard environment (http://www.lapanga.com/).  On the beach and marina in SJDC-Gachoo Sushi Bar-El Ganzo Hotel Rooftop (http://elganzo.com/dining/), Javier’s in the Cabo Azul Resort (http://www.caboazulresort.com/Dining/), and, not fancy but good, Zippers offers tasty fare in an unbeatable location right on Costa Azul beach while watching the surfers (http://www.loscabosguide.com/zippers/).  All 15 minutes from CLL.

A Little Grown-up Fun: Go out for a night on the town at these hot spots in SJDC: Red Martini Bar (http://www.redmartinibar.com.mx/w/en-us/home.aspx), Rock & Brews (http://rockandbrews.com/loscabos/), Baja Brewing Company, and the One & Only Palmilla bars at Aqua and Market restaurants (http://palmilla.oneandonlyresorts.com/cuisine/aguabar.aspx).  All 20 minutes from CLL or less.

The Golf Spots: A great option is Puerto los Cabos which at $175 per round (with food and drink included) during high season is affordable AND you get great game and ocean views as well; 15% discount for CLL guests, and it’s literally 5 minutes from CLL!! (http://www.puertoloscabos.com/golf.php#).  Then there’s Palmilla (http://www.palmillagc.com/index.php), Cabo Real (http://www.caboreal.com/Cabo_Real/Golf.html), and the most raved about course, and rated in the top 100 of the world, Cabo del Sol Ocean Course but it comes at a price of $355 per round (http://www.cabodelsol.com/content/golf.html).

Whale Watching: December through April, right in front, from every room and terrace at CLL; Discovery Channel on steroids!; or drive 7 minutes to the Puerto Los Cabos marina and go on a mega inflatable whale watching tour (http://www.dolphindiscovery.com/los_cabos/whale-watching-tour-sanjose.asp).

ATV Riding: Brought to Casa La Laguna for you, then 5 minutes to wide open beach and off-road riding!  Very cool and very fun (http://www.atvsmotosol.com/home.aspx).

Horseback Adventures: Brought to you on the beach at Casa La Laguna!; or the best ranch is Cuadra San Francisco, where you can do beach, hills or beach and hills adventures (http://www.atvsmotosol.com/Pages/ActivityDetails.aspx?acid=14).

Swim With The Dolphins: At Puerto Los Cabos marina in a completely natural harbor environment, not a cement tank; 7 minutes from CLL! (http://www.dolphindiscovery.com/los_cabos/los-cabos-location-overview.asp).

Art Comes to Life: San Jose Art Walk is held every Thursday night from 5 – 9 pm between November and May in the historic art district of old town SJDC.  Wander by yourselves or arrange a tour, either way you’re sure to find that one-of-a-kind piece to add to your collection (http://www.artcabo.com/).

Catch of the Day or Boating/Yachting: Definitely the best with Pisces Fleet – great boats and staff. Depending on the time of year you can catch marlin, dorado, tuna, wahoo, rooster fish, snapper, and grouper.  The owners of CLL are friends with the owners and staff, and can arrange your charter to be sure you get the right boat and best fish-finding captain! (http://www.piscessportfishing.com/).

Snorkeling: Chileno Bay (http://www.cabosanlucastours.net/Chileno-Bay.htm?gclid=COWt86uNpLkCFchxQgodhlYAxA) or Cabo Pulmo, one of only 3 live reefs in mainland North America (http://www.cabosanlucastours.net/Cabo-Pulmo-Snorkeling.htm?gclid=CMP2mI-NpLkCFQeCQgod9B8A3g): The best snorkeling around. You can go by yourself with your own gear from the beach, arrange a snorkelling cruise or join a group tour.

Close Encounters: get up and close to Cabo nature with the turtle release (August to the beginning of December), a swim with the Whale Sharks in La Paz, a swim with the sea lions, or a trip to Esperitu Santos Island for a great day away from it all (http://baja.com/san-jose-del-cabo/san-jose-del-cabos-family-friendly-organic-farmers-market/).

Review of the Month

Simply Amazing!  Gorgeous, wonderful accommodations, wonderful decor!  We had a great time at Casa La Laguna.  The home was beautifully appointed; decorated impeccably!  The food was just perfect; it was so special to be in home and have your meals made for you.  It was also always very clean.  The view was simply amazing. It felt like we were in a dream.  The evening chef and butler made our experience even more VIP.  They were friendly and warm to us and made excellent meals.

Plenty of fun without leaving CLL;
15 ft. slide from wading pool to main pool, over and over… Main pool is big enough for lapping.

Swim With the Dolphins; Puerto Los Cabos;
7 minutes from CLL; VERY fun!
